Recording Information about a Persons Death When information is available, the database will record that a Member has died. The death of a BT Pensioner, who is not a member, may also be recorded. This means that a search for a person who is recorded a deceased, will show a result as deceased, rather than no result at all. If you have been unsuccessful looking for an old friend you may wish to view the list of deceased pensioners on a protected page. Click Here
Quite Often news of the death of BT pensioner becomes available sometime after the actual Funeral. However I believe that it may still be of interest to include details here and to record the deceased person in the site database. Please note Email Addresses recorded against deceased persons are completely fictitious in order to satisfy the database format. I have tried to ensure that these email addresses are not displayed anywhere but if this should happen you will understand why. Well! you wouldn't expect an active email address. Would You?!

John
Walshaw I have been informed by
John's son Tim, that his father John Walshaw died on 19th December 2013 and the
funeral took place on 10th January. John was a Sales Sup't in the Birmingham
area before taking up a Senior Sales Sup't post as a Datel Marketing Officer (DMO)
in Midland Region. He
served in this role for about 10 years until he became a Phonepower Consultant
and founder member of the newly formed Phonepower organisation. He was
trained for this role in Canada and went on to recruit and train a number of
Phonepower Consultants. I
joined John's team as an Assistant DMO in the early 1970's and spent many happy
years in that role with John as my boss. With his fatherly approach he was a
great person to have as a boss and he was also a good friend. I had great
respect for John and I am saddened to learn of his passing. Regrettably I didn't
hear of his death until after his funeral took place.
I
am sure that there will be many who will be sad to learn of his death. Posted
